What began as a spontaneous jam at Nashville’s legendary Station Inn has grown into a musical force redefining the sound—and soul—of bluegrass. Sister Sadie is a GRAMMY-nominated, multi-IBMA-awarded powerhouse, known for blazing musicianship, soaring harmonies, and a fearless approach to tradition.
Often described as an “all-female bluegrass band,” Sister Sadie is far more than a label. Their music blends the roots of bluegrass with the heart of country, the soul of gospel, and the edge of Americana—resulting in a sound that’s as timeless as it is current.
Their latest album, All Will Be Well, is a testament to their evolution: rich with original songs and reimagined classics that speak to life, loss, resilience, and grace. At the heart of the band are six extraordinary artists—Gena Britt (banjo), Deanie Richardson (fiddle), Jaelee Roberts (vocals, 2024 IBMA Female Vocalist of the Year), Dani Flowers (guitar/songwriter), Rainy Miatke (mandolin), and Katie Blomarz-Kimball (bass)—each a standout in her own right, yet unstoppable together.
With performances at the Grand Ole Opry, national festivals, and stages across the country, Sister Sadie is not just part of the bluegrass conversation—they’re leading it.
