Returning to Joe's Pub for another of his much-loved 'Not Like All The Other Boys' shows, Bright Light Bright Light (aka South Wales born, NYC based Rod Thomas) takes you on a rollercoaster ride through his catalogue of songs that have cemented him as one of pop's most joyful, creative and uplifting voices.
He has toured and recorded with Elton John, Scissor Sisters and Erasure, opened for icon Cher, and played his own shows all over the world. Join him for a night of songs, stories and silliness that bring a much-needed blast of drama and humour to the city set to 80s/90s influenced dance pop.
Also expect torch song moments at the piano, a special guest or two as always, and a surprise cover version from the vaults of his encyclopedic pop music brain.
