Generation Women is a multigenerational storytelling night that invites a woman or non-binary performer in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s+ to share an original true story on a theme. Our diverse line-ups will make you laugh, cry, and reflect on the cycle of life. The mission of Generation Women is to amplify underheard voices, and create space for intergenerational connection and community. Hosted by Georgia Clark. All are welcome to join us.
February 10
Falling
Join us this February as we explore the art, chaos, comedy, and inevitability of falling… and what happens on the other side.
Our multigenerational storytellers take the Joe’s Pub stage to share true tales of falling: in (or out of) love; for a con, a dream, or a brilliantly bad idea; from grace, into grief, or right into a brand-new identity; or simply falling down, getting back up, and doing it all again. Whether it’s a stumble, a face-plant, or a swan dive into the unknown, our wise and witty storytellers will remind us that falling isn’t failure — it’s how we learn, transform, and, if we’re lucky, laugh about it later.
Don’t miss New York’s best storytelling night, presenting true stories told by women and non-binary performers across the generations, all celebrating the resilience, mess, and undeniable magic of being human.
March 10
Spark
Join us this March as we celebrate those electric moments when something inside us ignites — and everything changes.
Our multigenerational storytellers take the Joe’s Pub stage to share true tales of spark: the instant connection that became lifelong love; the conversation that lit a fire; the wild idea that caught flame; the moment of recognition that illuminated a new path; or that jolt of inspiration that refused to be ignored. Whether it’s chemistry, creativity, or pure combustion, our wise and witty storytellers remind us that the best things in life often begin with a single spark.
