Garnet Williams takes a night to let it all out for her first headliner on the Joe’s Pub stage. After an Obie Award winning run as many a kitten in Cats: The Jellicle Ball, playing Nina Simone in Nina Simone: Four Women, screaming her head off in AHS: New York, and releasing Off Cloud 9 (a short film she wrote, directed, produced, and starred in) commissioned by BTB, she has a lot to get off her chest. Come hear what it sounds like when a woman raised in the church rides through genres like funk, soul, and jazz all to drop right back into the theatre. Backed by a loving band of queers the fun is bound to pour from the stage.
